Ecopetrol closes $1.2 billion Brava Energia acquisition in Brazil

Ecopetrol has completed its $1.2 billion acquisition of a controlling 51% stake in Brazil’s Brava Energia, which averaged 78,800 boed of production in first-half 2026 and holds 459 MMboe of proved reserves.
